Professional Development Committee


 Purpose:

  To improve expertise, knowledge and functional skills of athletic trainers in Louisiana.

 Composition:

 This committee shall be composed of professional members in good standing with the Association.  The Director of Continuing Education shall serve as the chair.

 Duties:
  1. Plan and coordinate in conjunction with host committees, relevant educational programming.     
  2. Identify qualified speakers to facilitate the association's educational symposiums.
  3. Adhere to established deadlines, review application materials, and serve as the selection committee for the LATA educational awards (e.g. Gordon Reynolds High School Scholarship, Eugene Christmas College Scholarship, etc.)
