 Regional Reps

The Louisiana Athletic Trainers' Association has developed a regional council system designed to improve communication and promote collaboration among fellow athletic trainers, school administrators, and the public.

A Regional Chairperson will serve as a resource for the exchange of knowledge and the dissemination of current information within his/her respective region of the state regarding health care issues specific to athletes.

This system will help athletic trainers, school administrators, and the public identify and contact local health care professionals in providing athletic training services or asking questions related to athlete safety.

OBJECTIVES

  • To improve statewide communications
  • To bridge the gap between the various athletic training work settings and encourage the exchange of knowledge
  • To bridge the gap between the Membership and the Executive Committee
  • To help the athletic trainers of Louisiana become one voice.
